Just in case you missed them, you can read about
Thank goodness we have unlimited water because I'm pretty sure Noah ran at least 500 gallons under this tree. He said he was making a "water slide." Look at that guilty face. There was a lot of mud going on here. A lot.
Just one example of why Noah went through three pairs of pants a day.
Our neighbors up the road have a 2400+ acre ranch and invited Noah to come and ride one of their 19 horses. Unfortunately, it was rainy when we arrived and so riding was not going to happen, but Rod took Noah on the Mule to go and round up the horses to give them a snack. The goal was to drive up into the canyon where the horses were hiding from the rain and whistle for them. Traditionally, they will all stampede down the canyon and to the round pin. After a lot of whistling and rattling of treats, the horses didn't budge. They aren't stupid. It was raining, and they were dry under the tree. Strike two for Noah and the horses.
Thankfully, back at the house, their cat, Rambo (coolest cat ever), was more than happy to let Noah play with him.
This was daddy's way of giving Noah something to do while he was working. Four-year-old + power tool = very nervous mommy. He was very serious about it, as you can probably tell. He did ok. I didn't.
And, of course Utah wouldn't be complete without fireworks. We were extra cautious this year due to the dry conditions. There was also a forst fire burning about 15 miles away, so that was a bit scary.
Because of the forest fire, most of the "fireworks" we did were the smoke bombs. Definitely my favorite and Noah's.
The last pictures are just a few I took as we were headed home. Such a beautiful place.
