I have known the Rakoci family for over 10 years. They are known for their interest in lizards and other reptiles, especially Jeremiah and Philip. Candice Rakoci was kind enough to invite us to a family fun night at her church where Phil was giving a reptile demonstration. We thought that Noah would love this, given his obsession with lizards. He ended up being a little too young for the demonstration and really struggled (drove us crazy and freaked out when we wouldn't let him do what he wanted) through it. At then end Philip let the kids pet the animals and Noah really liked that.
My sister read my blog and then told me that I needed explain the below picture. This is Stumpy the Tortoise. He was in an accident and lost his left front leg. Phil found him and fitted him with a bracket and wheel that allows him to move around freely. Thanks to Phil this tortoise will be around for a long time.
