At 4 months you:
-weigh 14 lbs. 5 oz. (37%)
-are 25" long (53%)
-have a 41.5" head circumference (29%)
-are still exclusively breastfed
-are growing perfectly
-have the rolls to prove it
-got your second round of shots and did well with them
-love to smile and laugh
-still are easily soothed/entertained by your big brother-I think you love him most
- still drool...a lot
-were sleeping through the night (10 hours straight) and then then changed your mind and started waking every three hours...Ugh!
-love to snuggle
-still want to eat every 3-4 hours
-enjoy nursing
-have gotten very efficient at nursing and will sometimes be finished in 10 minutes or less but will take up to an hour or more if you are going to sleep (which is fine because mommy enjoys
this time with you)
-are starting to get distracted while nursing, sometimes making the process a lot longer than needed
-still don't nap during the day unless you are being held (you wake the moment we lay you down unless you are super tired and then then we might get 45 minutes out of you if we are lucky)
-love, love, love to bounce, prompting us to purchase the kangaroo jumper--You love it!
-love it so much that sometimes you even jump yourself to sleep (just like your brother did)
-are starting to grow hair back on the bald patch on the back of you head
-rolled over once from your back to your stomach and once from your stomach to your back (two separate occasions)
-got so pissed off after rolling over that you haven't done it again since.
-still hate tummy time but are still getting very strong
-laugh when we blow raspberries on your tummy
-are easily calmed down by a bath
-still prefer to be held and walked around
-are getting better about riding in the car
-are getting better about spitting up but some days you go through all your burp rags
-love a crinkle toy we call crispy kitty
-recognize the voice of your brother and daddy and look for them when you hear them
-recognize when I am getting my nursing pillow and calm down knowing you are about to eat
-understand the word "up" (thanks to Grandma Marni) and respond with smiles and giggles when asked, "up? up?"
-are a very happy baby most of the time
-keep mommy from getting much done
-make mommy swoon every time you look at her
-are the joy of our lives and make the exhaustion that we feel absolutely worth it!
