At 8 months you:
-are pretty proficient at sitting independently but need a bit of help every now and then. Thankfully your brother is there to help.
-got your first tooth--nom, nom, nom
-are sleeping well again
-have slept all night (8pm to 8 am) a couple of times
-usually wake once night around 1:30 am and want to eat even though you don't really need to--mommy is a sucker and obliges
-wake again around 5 am, nurse for a bit, and then go back to sleep until 9 or 10 am
-are a good eater
-have enjoyed all the baby food you have tried except peas
-are starting to try to crawl
-love a little youtube video of nursery rhymes and songs--you will watch it for long periods of time which doesn't bode well for the future
-have become much easier to put to bed
-are finally getting into a routine
-celebrated your first Christmas
-love the little baby laptop you got for Christmas
-can easily shift yourself around on the floor but still don't roll much even though you can
-lay on your stomach and wave your arms and legs in the air in attempt to move yourself forward--Noah calls it "the fishy" move
-love teethers especially when they are cold
-are starting to use a sippy cup but mostly just chew on it
-always want your sippy cup of water but are sorely disappointed when you realize it isn't milk
-get excited when you hear your grandparents' voices on the phone
-like to FaceTime but always want to grab the phone--you already love electronics--Uh oh!
-still obsessed with your big brother
-have discovered bubbles in the bath and put them to good use
-look just like your brother did at that age: adorable
