We bought Noah a bicycle for Christmas, 2012. He rode some but was super dependent on the training wheels and wasn't improving his skills. A friend had told me to buy a balance bike for him before getting him a regular bicycle. I didn't listen. So after almost a whole year of no progress on his bicycle, we got him a balance bike for his 6th birthday. He really liked it but his balance was terrible in need of improvement and we weren't sure whether we had made the right decision. Our questions were soon answered. After about 20 laps around Grandma Barbara's driveway, he had it down. He started to get more and more daring and soon he was an expert. So glad we got it for him. It made the transition to a regular bike much easier. Stay tuned for that post.
First and only crash. He was fine. That's what he gets for being a dare devil.
