There really isn't much more to say about this--glow.sand.is.awesome.
Well, first of all I should warn you that these pictures are very blurry. It was dark-thirty when I took them and I couldn't use a flash because the glow wouldn't show up. So, these are the product of the longest exposure ever, mixed with a child that doesn't know the meaning of "Noah, hold still!"

We got this Crayola glow-sand at Walmart. $5 for three colors; not so bad. I had no idea it was going to be so amazing. The sand looked like a galaxy on my back patio. If you have little ones, go out and spend $5 on Crayola glow sand. It is non-toxic, sweeps up easily (but only use it outside), and is totally awesome.
